Our Ethical Animal Talent Standards Are Public
The Three-Tier System
Fur Reel Talent verifies every profile before it goes live using a three-tier badge system based on account capacity. Platinum badges cover unlimited animal profiles, suited to professional trainers, wranglers, and multi-animal households. Gold badges cover up to three animal profiles, suited to owner-handlers managing a small roster. Standard badges cover a single animal profile. Every tier, regardless of badge, requires verified ID, a signed welfare agreement, liability coverage, and current vet records.
Our Species Policy
We list domesticated species only: dogs, cats, equines, small companion animals, domesticated birds, farm animals, and legal non-venomous reptiles. We never list wild or exotic animals. No big cats, primates, wolves, bears, raptors, or venomous species. This is a published ethical position. Our standards are aligned with the American Humane Society's published Guidelines for the Safe Use of Animals in Filmed Media.
Our Enforcement
Records are re-checked every 6 months. Lapsed items automatically unpublish a profile. Fees are published. Welfare concerns can be reported by anyone at info@furreeltalent.com. All reports are reviewed within 48 hours. Handler profiles under review are temporarily unpublished until the matter is resolved.
